Hosted like family, every stay
Sylvan Stays is three cabins in the Smokies: a lakefront retreat on Douglas Lake, a cozy hideaway in the woods, and a mountain-view chalet with a view you won't believe. I picked each one myself, and I host every stay personally. Ask me where to eat, what's worth the drive, and what to skip. And after your first night, I'll check in to make sure everything's just right.
Eight acres on Douglas Lake with a private dock, two fire pits, and room for the whole crew. Bring the boat. Bring the dogs.
A cozy hideaway in the woods with a hot tub on the screened porch, a loft for lazy mornings, and a popcorn machine for movie nights.
Unobstructed Smoky Mountain views from the deck, the hot tub, and nearly every window. Our most-loved cabin.
Every message comes to my phone, not a call center. Questions before you book, dinner recommendations while you're there.
Which trail's worth your one clear morning, the closest place to grab firewood, and who to call if anything's off — because they answer my calls.
The hot tub's clean and warm, the beds are made, and after your first night you'll hear from me, not a survey.
"One of the best places I've ever rented in all my years using Airbnb. Exactly as described, only better. Spotless, beautifully decorated, and truly relaxing. Amanda is a 20/10 host, friendly, communicative, and full of great local suggestions. I dare you to find a better place!"
"The property is secluded and private, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We especially loved having easy access to the lake, and our dogs had an amazing time. The host was friendly, welcoming, and always responded quickly."
"We have been to the Smokies multiple times and every time we stay in a cabin. This is by far the best cabin we have stayed in. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, it was very quiet. I would definitely recommend and will be staying here again the next time we are in town."
When you book one of these cabins, you are booking with me, not a call center. Hosting my own cabin in the Smokies taught me what makes a stay genuinely great: fine-tuned details, a reliable local team, and a host who actually answers.
I don't run a hundred listings. I host a small handful of cabins I know inside and out, for owners I know personally. When you message one of our cabins, you get me, and I'm quick.
If you need anything before or during your stay, from restaurant picks to an extra blanket, just ask.
That's what hosted like family means.
I co-host a small number of cabins for owners who want hands-on care without a big management company.
