I own a cabin in the Smokies myself, and I host a small handful of others for owners I know personally. I do not manage a hundred listings. I go deep on a few, which means I know this house, its lake, and its quirks inside and out.
Before, during, and after your stay, you deal with me directly. Questions about the dock, the drive, or where to eat in Sevierville, just ask. I answer fast.

Lake access: There is a slope from the cabin down to the water. Stairs with railings run partway down; the last stretch is steep, uneven terrain with rock steps and no railing. Guests with significant mobility limitations may find the walk to the water a real challenge. We would rather tell you now than surprise you at check-in.
Boats: Boats, kayaks, and paddle boards are not included with the rental. Rentals are available at H2O Sports in Dandridge (about 30 minutes away, overnight rentals allowed) and Douglas Lake Marina (canoes, day use). Bringing your own boat? Launch at Griffin Campground, directly across the road, then tie up at our dock.
Pets: Kajun Kove is pet friendly for up to 3 pets.
